Hi everyone! The 3rd Annual Midwest BBQ Throwdown (in Mt. Morris, MI) is quickly approaching. It seemed that everyone had a great time there last year, and we are sure this year will be even better. Here is the entry form if anyone needs it.

We're at 14 teams so far, and 17 certified judges. Not too bad being that it's only May. If you know of other teams or certified judges, please let 'em know, we'd love to have them.

It is only 15 miles from my house, of course I will be there!! This comp has been good to RSS!!
 
We've got judges!

Hi all, just a heads up. After the CBJ class on June 24 in Auburn Hills, we've had quite a few new certified judges commit, which brings our total to 26 certified judges!

Will there be any issues setting up around 3pm?

Trying to figure out if I can get a half day of work in.
 
We're at 16 teams right now!

Rich, settin up at 3 would be ok, we'd just need to do the meat inspection right away, and there is a cooks' meeting at 4
 
Thanks for the info!

I will probably need a helper starting that late.
