Barbecue Bun -- not necessarily what you think -- PRON PRON PRON
Bún thịt nướng is a Vietnames rice vermicelli salad with roasted meat, herbs, greens, pickled vegetables and a sweet and sour garlicy dressing. I fuzed my Vietnamese salad with American freezer pulled pork and smoked chicken breast. The pork was in large chunks, it was tossed in sauce, put in a foil pan and smoked uncovered for a half hour and covered for a half hour. The chix were sliced, tossed with a peanut sauce, skewered and charred over the flame.
Thanks for looking.

Wow, two decades ago I used to make this a lot, but without the fuzed bits. That looks great! Thanks!

Thanks folks. A lot of knife work, but otherwise an easy dish with lots of flavor and outside of the protein not fatty at all. I'm definitely going to make it more frequently this summer. I see a few Banh Mi sandwiches batting follow up in the line up too.
