Default Bad ribs lead to legs

Bought a pack of spareribs at Giant to celebrate 68 degrees in January. Opened them and they stank. First time I've opened meat and known from the gitgo it was bad. Had bought some chicken legs on sale and, after returning the ribs, went for it. A little dry rub and mop, and they turned out nicely. Used the rib rack to get them away from the heat a little, and enjoy the smoke.

The legs look good, but that rack looks nifty. Details?

He used the rib rack upside down. It looks like one I bought at lowes a few years back. It does work, but it is a real pain to clean.....

But I must say, it looks like a great way to make some smokin' legs!

The legs turned out well. I'm pretty sure I bought the rib racks at Lowes, like mentioned above. And to clean them, I either put them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher, or just throw them in the charcoal when it's firing up, and then brushing them before I put the meat on.
