UDS Smoker

I don't have a lock ring for mine.

After a couple uses it fits nice and tight.
 
When i first built mine i thought i'd use the locking ring but soon realized there was no need.
 
Just drop ur lid a cpl times and it'll fit Real Tight and actually be hard to get off........:wink:
 
Locking ring got thrown out on both of mine, no need for it. If you burn it out, do not put the lid on it, you will warp it at that high of temperature.
