Default Comp trailer progress

Decided this would be my weekend to start some of the improvements on my small enclosed trailer. I removed the air vent and added some 1/2" insulation to the roof today. Tomorrow we should be able to get the A/C on the roof. I have one small place to insulate in the morning.

Nope. The poor thing hasn't had a fire in it in over a year. We usually haul 3 large green eggs. Once unloaded it'll be a climate controlled prep area. We can set up 2 cots or zero gravity chairs and then we have a nice place to sleep. We've only had to use heat up until now. But with the Texas summers, gotta have a/c. In time i'll insulate the walls behind the panelling. Picked up the generator today and should be completely wired inside and out by next week.

Looks good Ty. Don't be surprised when a neighbor takes a couple of breaks in your a/c at Colleyville.

That looks really nice. How big is the trailer? Got any other pics of it? How do you transport your eggs without cracking the ceramics

Add another couple things to my trailer. Couple of Big Green Egg bumber stickers to the rear gate.

It's 6x10. We curently trandport them in wooden crates. We use ratchet straps to attach to a 2 wheel dolly and move them with ease. In the trailer, we run a ratchet strap oven each one and secure them snug to the floor towards the front of the trailer. Keeps them from bouncing. We keep all the internals in them. Plan on building an offroad egg cart. Tired of lifting them out of the crates and into the nests. We use a Potl-lifter, so 2 of us can lift them securely.

Here is the inside area. The table is set up against this wall. Been real happy with the whiteboard. It sits a little further to the right and I hang a wall clock between it and the paper towels.

And I mounted the first aid kit by the door instead of it being packed away.

And my free banner from buildasign that took me a forever to get. It had a pending change and I forgot all about. They contacted me and I made the change and it was at my doorstep the next day. Great service.

Nice. The heat is one thing I dont miss about TX. How much of a draw does that take? I'm guessing your ceiling lights are AC.
