Wow - I had to look that place up. I think I could live in the Brown Sugar Kitchen for a few days.

As well have I but ever since we bought the waffle maker I've been itching to give it a try. I've actually found myself craving chicken and waffles all day.

Sorry about that. I think we we should have a chicken and waffles throwdown. Thinking about it today the options are endless.

Sure

Original recipe was 1/2 cup maple syrup but that seemed like too much.

MAPLE GRAVY
Ingredients:
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 3 tablespoons quick-mixing flour
• 1-3/4 cups chicken stock
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Directions:
Heat butter in a heavy pan over medium heat. Add Wondra® flour and stir constantly 2-3 minutes until flour turns golden brown. Slowly whisk in stock. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly until gravy thickens (about 10 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir in syrup. Reduce heat to low until ready to serve.

Thanks Jeanie

The whole recipe came from here. It seemed like a healthier way to go but in the end I still had to throw some butter in a cast iron pan. Oh well.
