Nothing fancy, just made a batch of bierocks the other day.

For the dough I use..
1 1/4 cups of warm water
1 pkg of yeast
2 TBs oil
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups of flour (more if needed)
I disolve the yeast in water, add the sugar, oil and then the salt.. stir in 2 cups of flour and add enough of the remaining flour to make the dough come together. Knead 5 minutes, cover and rest for 1 hour.
then divide and roll out.

I ate one and wrapped the rest for quick freezer meals.

Thanks for looking! :)

I like it and what a great idea for the freezer and a future quick bite

Mmmm, those do look good, Jeanius!

Don't you just love cooking in dutch oven's?

Oh WOW!
That's cool. Looks like something I'll have to do.
Although, I'm thinking some of those cheese cubes placed inside would be a nice touch.

Never heard of those - wow! A lot of possibilities there - sausage, chix, etc..looks fantastic esp. for cooler weather - I can just see biting into one of those and seeing the steam...:hungry:

Excellent as always Jeanie! :clap2:

Thanks friends! The frozen bierocks make great "I don't feel like cooking today" meals.

How long did you cook for?

YUM! That could be my next tailgate meal! How long cook time?
Thanks funman and Phil, they took about 30 minutes.

Pat Thanks! I've been doing more dutch oven cooking lately than ever. They are easy to use.... My kinda cookin'!

Thanks Bob! Let me know how the cheese addition goes if you make them.

Greg Thanks! They are great in the winter. I love the smell of hot baked bread on a cold day. Still using the goodies you sent. Can't thank you enough! Made chili yesterday with the New Mexico Hatch powder. It was excellent! :thumb:

Thanks again everyone!
