First year of growing the Ghost Chili peppers and the plant is loaded. Now I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with them. Thinking dehydrater way out in the woods to dry them and use as occassional seasoning. Any ideas comrades? ABT's, who's gonna help me eat'm. Guerry?

I just saw a show that made some serious ice cream with chilis and hot sauces like Dave's Insanity. Put some in vodka for some potent cocktails. Ghosts are pretty up there in heat so use them sparingly! (not mad, but scortched!)

Definitely make some pepper jellies and jams! Pickle some with okra, cauliflower and green beans...

I grew some a couple of years ago. They were too hot to do anything with. A little goes a long way. If you make ABTs make sure you take some pics of you eating em'. Maybe someone has a recipe for pepper spray.

Saw a "Man vs. Food" episode a couple of weeks ago where the guy ate a cheeseburger with japs, habs and 3 whole ghost chilis on it.
They said that they are like 1 MILLION on the scale?

HOLY SHYTE!!!

I'd say use them to peel paint!

I haven't tried them, but they've GOT to be way too hot for me!

I still think the use of them in something sweet or pickled would be good. A relish or chutney too. All these things can be canned and stored for...

Like this? I use Scotch Bonnet and Habanero's in my dill pickles. Friends can't get enough of them. Canned these last night. Probably try some of the Ghost Chili's in dill pickles.

I grew some last year - a little does go a LONG way - if you can, smoke 'em, or dry them and grind them for extra kick in dishes. Be careful to wash your hands after handling - especially before you go urinate. Trust me on this one.

Hey Wampus, you know that Adam from MvF is "Sledneck" on here, right?

I also saw a M.Vs.F. where Adam was supposed to eat 10 wings made assorted peppers, including ghost chilis, without the aid of milk, and I think he made it through about 2 wings before quitting. He was in obvious pain and was pretty out of it for a few minutes. It was the only heat challenge has has lost to date.

I didn't know Sledneck WAS Adam, I thought he just had a tie in to the show (camera, producer, etc..). That's pretty cool! Props to him for eating what he did!

Cucumbers made into dill pickles, they need to rest for 3 months now. Also in the brine is garlic powder, crushed red chili's and dill.
