Depends on how it's to be used.
As strips for whatever, I prefer it on the "limp" side.
For crumbles or pieces, a little crispier.
 
Crispy fries the "food" out of bacon. The stuff you buy in the grocery store has to be fried crispy (imho). If you make your own you, I cut thick and do not fry to crisp.
 
My wife and daughter prefer crispy whereas my son and I like a little chew on it so I just cook their bacon a little longer. I'll eat it any way it's served if I'm not cooking it.

Kinda with Moose on this one, but I'm not sure about the %s. I describe the perfect bacon as crispy with a little chewy/fatty on the ends.
