Source for brisket points?
Anyone have a recommendation for where to purchase some point-only briskets? I'm not necessarily looking for high-end but definitely choice or above.

Recently I went to my local butcher and they were able to cut one for me. Price was reasonable. Personally I prefer to cook the whole brisket as I'm not always happy with the outcome of the point only. But, I might just need to get better at cooking the point only. I'm not quite to the point where "I'm friends with my butcher"...but...the best advice I can give you is to find a local butcher shop that you think you can trust....ask em for a point. Enjoy. Hope to see pictures and learn trips from you on how to make an amazing brisket point. Happy Smokin'

One of the local butchers sells the point with no issues. Few of the others will not. Just have to find the lucky one
