Default Spraying Chicken

Just curious, if someone would share. Comp newbie here and I noticed lots of people spraying something on their chicken, mostly over direct heat. Just curious what that might be.

It could be a variety of things. Apple Juice. white grape juice, spray butter. Olive oil worchesture and jalapena pickle juice combination. Your just trying to layer flavors if you spray. There are lots of teams that don't spray at all. Experiment and see if you like the results.
