Works great for me. I had an iPod and I pad already and now it works with my android phone. I got the extra probes so I can take temp of my pit also. I like it. The reviews are mixed out there.

After some bumps in the road and some syncing problems i love mine. Good range, and appears accurate. It is a bit of a battery drain.

I've used one in competition for several months. The only problem we've had is probe failure from the pit door (apparently). We've added a fitting in the side of the smoker for the probes and we haven't had a failure since.
I just purchased 2 of the Maverick ET732 wireless thermometers and they are doing great. They cost less than an iGrill and I don't have to fool with using my iPad or iPhone. You do give up the graph function that the iGrill provides.

Not bad.
Usually comes with 2 food probes. Now you can get a ambient probe for it (very similar to ET-732 probe).
Also works now with phones and pad other than Apple which is nice.
Distance isn't bad, but not as far as the Maverick from my experience.
