Bandera newb
Hey guys glad I ‘re’discovered this place. Guess i joined back in the day and forgot about it ha. Anyway, bought a okj Bandera a couple days ago on Craigslist for $150 and broke it in yesterday with an 8.5 lb pork butt. 12 hrs, a full bag of briquettes and countless mesquite chunks later my wife and I were hammering some pulled pork sandwiches. Needless to say I’m frantically searching and scanning Bandera mods on here! I think ash buildup was my biggest issue and temps really plummeted towards the end of the smoke. Glad to be here and learn from you guys. Where’s my Bandera guys at??
