I'm going to stuff some dates with Gorgonzola and wrap them in bacon. How far in advance can I do this and what's a good guess on cooking times offset in a kettle? TIA
i cooked them over direct heat until the bacon crisped. the coals were white hot and it didn't take long to cook them. i made them in advance, earlier in the day, and held them in the refrigerator until i grilled them.
