Phub, please describe the taste. They look like they have a lot of flavor but I wouldnt know how to compare to domesticated pork.

Can't be compaired with pork...far more Phlavour to wildboar and texture wise it's more like beePh than pork.
A week ago I tasted a small piece of raw wildboar belly...amazing!!!
These creatures eat everything what they can Phind in the wild like apples, berries, truffles and stuPh...this gives them a unique Phlavour.

i thought he must of shot it as it is wild boar and cant by game meat in united states...only farm raised.

i am heading out Wednesday for a hog hunt in Georgia with a few guys that also only hunt with longbows or recurves. Hopefully I will get one to bring back to introduce to my PR42!!! :)

Phubar lives in the Netherlands.

The laws might be different there.

Bought it from a hunter: http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=149151

The previous boar was shot in Germany and this on was shot near the Alps if I'm correct.
It's all done legal with permits and stuPh...the boars also get checked for rabies.
