I don’t have a frame of reference other than stories I see here as it’s the only stickburner I’ve own or run.
It holds heat like a tank. Tons of draw. No trouble keeping thin blue heat. Ever. The 36 is small and the heat difference from top to bottom can be 75 degrees if I let the fire get away from me. But when I’m running it well and it’s warmed up, I’ve had the top, bottom, and warmer within 25 degrees of each other for hours while doing jerky. When I don’t pay attention and the heat gets away from me the food still turns out fantastic and I’m probably the only one that notices. Last edited by Stlsportster; 02-28-2020 at 04:26 PM.. |
