Update I received via email:

Quote:
First off, I can't edit this footage longer than 30 minutes without having to eat something. Jesus. Matt Hamm really pulled off some great food porn shots on this one, Im very close to buying a meat slicer and keeping it in my office for projects like this.
Just sending an update out on the progress.
Everything is looking great, the content is awesome and the soundtrack is kickass. Really happy with how this looks. Im gonna continue editing as much as possible when I can, but rest assured this documentary is coming together nicely. looks great, sounds great, and between the smoking gnome stealing a golfcart, paul kirks legendary greatness, and tom bera getting bananas shoved in his face, I think we've got something really unique here. It's gonna be a bit longer though because we want this thing to be the best, so we've got 2 more sections to shoot (a local butchers schooling on meats and a super slomo intro shot with a bunch of competitors). But like an 18hour smoked brisket, the payoff will be worth it.
I'd also love any original music for the soundtrack so if you have any or know any decent bands send some my way.
and don't worry, t-shirts and stickers are on the way for all of you that donated. Thanks again. keep checking us out at www.DirtProductions.com.

I know this isn't going to sit well with many, but I wouldn't produce something full of foul language. Yeah, I've been known to have to go wash my mouth out with soap, but I ain't running around trying to start a new TV show with that language, either.

The most popular show on TV right now has NO cuss words or bleeps in it.

All in on this one. A documentary about our passion, doesn't get any better. I think I've watched the trailer 6 times this morning already...I hope it's a 10 part mini series by the time you finish it...
