Another vote for an Instant Pot. Granted, this is my first foray into pressure cooking.... but this thing has been fantastic and easy.

Sorry to hear about last night's dinner... though, spaghetti carbonara is a HUGE favorite of mine...

Ok- that title is just a bit misleading.

I'm glad no one died from a Pressure Cooker mishap.

And I can continue to enjoy my instant pot with out (much) fear of Boomage.

I have an All Clad pressure cooker and love it. Not sure I'd go the InstaPot route. I got it as a work points reward thing, so it was a freebee.

Love our 6 qt instapot!

Can go from a frozen chunk of chuck roast to a delicious full roast beef dinner in an hour and a half

I have used my 6 quart cuisinart and 8 quart power cooker plus for almost 3 years. Both have been kitchen workhorses; often back-to-back cooking several times a week for our busy family (tonight was black bean soup in one and corned beef in the other for the week). My only complaint is that I wish they didn’t have non-stick coatings. Neither are chipping or flaking but I’d prefer stainless.

Same here, for 40 years. Occasionally the seal ring dies.

I put the lid on the pressure cooker locked it and pressed the button to set it to Pressure cook by time.
The cooker lights went out and it completely died.

We ended up eating Pasta Carbonara.

The Pot Roast is going in the oven today.

I have no idea why the Pressure Cooker suddenly died in the middle of a cook.
Has this ever happened to any of you?

I guess I will buy a replacement, any suggestions on a Brand.
My wife loves the Instant Pot I got her a couple years ago.
