Talking You're All Invited to The 2019 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash on 3-16-2019

You are all invited to The 2019 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash!!
It's on Saturday March 16 2019.
Starting around 8:00 am and going till about 6:00 pm or later.
It will be back at:

Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Texas State Park entrance fee is $7.00 per adult. Exact change recommended)
Isle du Bois Unit, Group Picnic Pavilion 2
100 P W 4137 (Off of FM 455)
Pilot Point, TX 76258

It’s a great location with nice facilities and easy in and out.
We have rented the large Pavilion with quite a few picnic tables.
There are onsite restrooms, running water at the hose bib along with 120 VAC at the Pavilion.
Please bring your camp chairs and a cooler with your favorite beverages adult or not!

If you would like to bring a cooker that's great.
If not, we should have space on a cooker somewhere if you want to bring something to cook.
And if you just want to hang out, have a few beverages and partake in some great food and Q, well that's OK too.

So just click on the sign-up sheet "LINK", below in my signature, and let us know who's coming please.
It's that simple!

We will be there pretty much all day. Any questions just let us know.
I am local and can answer pretty much any question about the area.
Just send me a PM.
There is a local camp ground within the Park area if you would like to bring an RV or pitch a tent.
I would recommend getting a reservation ASAP!

https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/ray-roberts-lake

Maybe Ranger Rick will be there with us again this Spring!

So, please go ahead and sign up today.

Hope to see you at The2019 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash!
Thanks,
Hotch and Shelly

75 DAYS till the 2019 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash

Just a reminder that the 2019 Texas Spring Bash is coming up Soon!!
Now would be a great time to start thinking about the Bash.

What do I need to bring with us?
Who am I going to invite to the Bash?
Who is riding with us to the Bash?
What am I cooking this year?
Which cooker should I bring to the Bash?
What am I going to bring to cook on one of the cookers there?
Where did I put it when we came back from the last Bash?
Will there be some hot coffee in the morning? **
Will Smitty be rolling in HOT this time??
Have you signed in on the Signup Sheet??

These are a few of the questions going around at our house!!

Hope to see you there!!

Well things are starting to look good and we have a few already signed up.

If you have wanted to attended a BBQ Brethren Bash this would be a good one to attend!!

You are welcome to attend The 2019 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash even if you are a guest on the BBQ Brethren forum.

Here's the thing about the Bash, if you like to cook and want to bring your own cooker great do it! Bring what you want.
Stick burner, UDS, Weber grill or WSM, BGE, KJ, Pellet (120VAC at the Pavilion), Disc grill, Vertical smoker, Blackstone, Fryer, Coleman Camp stove, Dutch Oven cooker or anything else you may have! It all works for us. There is also a "Park Grill" at the Pavilion". Bring a bag or two of Kingsford, a grill scraper and have at it!

If you prefer not to bring a cooker and want to just bring something to cook on one of the cookers already there, that works to. There is always some room on one of the cookers/smokers somewhere. You can cook on my Shirley if you like and I'll bring the sticks!

You could just simply bring some refreshments, adult or not, or some sides to go along with all the great Q and food that will be coming off the cookers throughout the day. It's up to you. Just let us know please.

Or you can simply come on out hungry. Go ahead and invite your family and friends. They will enjoy a great day of food, family, friends and fellowship with the Brethren and have a great time at the Bash!!

So go ahead and signup please. The Link is in my signature line below. If you can't use the Google Sheet please let me know and I will sign you up.
This will give everyone and idea of how many are going to be there, who's cooking what, how many cookers will be there, who is bringing sides, who needs a cooker to use and how much to cook.

Hope to see you at the Bash!!

Hotch and Shelly

Sadly, everyone means everyone... just remember, it's a club that accepts me.
