Default Here's my entry for the throwdown

Spares and BB's were in order yesterday. Kept it simple with yardbird and finished them off with Bob Gibson's sauce. 3 in the smoke (cherry wood in honor of KCquer), 1 in foil and 1/2 sauced. The last picture for the throwdown please and thank you.

Anybody else FARK their's up? I had to leave the house for about 45minutes and I had a hell of a temp spike that caramelized the rube on the ribs and really just messed the rack up. I've got some great picks from past cooks, but oh well I all I have for this week is the pic of my rubbed rack!

My vegetarian neighbor is convinced she can make tofu ribs that are indistinguishable from the real thing. Very thankful for the bone-in

Played with the Jambo again this weekend and figured might as well enter Still have work to do on getting fire control...think next weekend I'll split some of the larger pieces as they do not burn as well as the smaller pieces.

Ribs tasted good but have to get some lessons on taking photos

Here's my first throwdown entry. Babybacks with home made rub, smoked over cherry and a bit of hickory in the Backwoods, and lightly sauced to finish. This was also my first use of Kingsford Competition briqs. They burned very steady with no smell. I will definitely use them again.
