You should read the posts from people who actually have met him. Seems like we have a troll on our hands.

To the OP, that smoker looks awesome! Can’t wait to hear about it and see PICS!

Not a troll. I guess nobody can have an opinion about anyone on this site. I didnt even think my comments were that bad. I mean, i could single out clips of him on his tv show, but i guess they would just get removed anyway.

Just let it rest, EBE.......you already have an Admin warning on your tab.

Some of us have actually ventured beyond the TV shows, books, and actually experienced meeting him.

For the record, I HAVE met Myron in-person...attended his class. He was friendly, a perfect host, funny, and we all had a great time time.

Time to put your argument to rest, EBE.

My take - opinions are welcome here, but you need to temper your opinions with reason and experience here. An even keel opinion without the drama works best.

Take the time to READ the posts, and then take some time to calm down and answer the posts. This forum is all about BBQ and it's the best BBQ forum I have found. Use it and contribute to it like it's meant.............spreading the word on good Q.

Back on track.................Matt is getting a new smoker..............

I appreciate it, my problem with her is the first thing she says to someone’s excitement was that garbage. But in the end I care about it being a good smoker and a good class. Researched a ton, very excited. My four year old and I are getting into comps as well and after owning an egg, Shirley, Humphreys, backwoods, my perfect smoker is a stickburner water cooker. Love traditional offsets but I just have a hard time with moisture. I think this is the perfect balance and wanted the ability to do a whole hog. With that said my next will be an assasin 28 or lsg insulated for when I just want a set and forget cook.

Congrats, Matt! Exciting having it on the way.

While speedy, they look really well built with no corners cut. It really looks like it is a serious cooker.

What do you plan on cooking first?

I wish, but that is during football season so there will be no going anywhere (I am a high school football coach). Be sure to detail it for me I am very interested in how beneficial you find it. You may convince to consider it after football season.
