Practice, practice.... (PrOn to follow soon)
Well here we are on another Sunday in the beautiful NW. In honor of my Mom turning 77 yesterday I decided it seemed like a good day for a practice run @ Vegas in 5 weeks......OK, I may have selfish reasons behind it as well However, we are expecting 15-20 people so it should be a chance for some feedback.
Smokers been chugging away @ 225 and the brisket and shoulder are coming along nicely! Time to start prepping ribs and chicken...... PrOn to follow soon..... Have a Great Sunday Brethren!!

A success!! (Mostly) PrOn!!
So Mom's Birthday dinner was mostly a huge success..... You'll be seeing no pics of bite through chicken skin tonight Everyone loved the taste but I definitely need more practice Sounds like a reason to cook!
Here is the dinner table Attachment 61036 Brisket sliced and plated Attachment 61037 Ribs ready to pull and rest Attachment 61038 And lastly the pulled pork.... a little blurry.... Attachment 61039 All in all a good day of practice and definitely learning every week! I still have 4 weeks of practice until my first comp of the year with a very open mind and hope to learn ALOT more from the best... Great Sunday and Mom enjoyed her meal, her family, and of course..... her cake!
