Default Copper UDS

Well more like faux copper lol.

Decided to finally paint my UDS today after a month of using it so ground off the layer of original black paint and rust then went to lowes to look for some High Temp paint of what ever color they had that would look cool.

Decided to go with 1200 Degree copper spray paint.

In the beginning it started to drip a bit and I was concerned but I think it adds to the copperness? lol besides its an Uds focus on the U for Ugly.

Third coat is on.

What I want to do is get a chromish color paint for the weber lid, get some nice wooden handles from Marty leach.

Should have gone with green, the overspray would make it look like you have a little grass...
I like the color!

It looks a bit nicer in the morning sunlight after 3 coats of copper spray.

Cant wait to 'Chrome' the dome.

How could I get the copper to look shinier? my wife is complaining it looks too brown and not copper LOL.

Guess I'd have to name mine Duracell as it is copper topped. I, too, like copper.
