I bought a 22in Blackstone last week and it's still in the box. I'm hoping to get it out and do some burgers this weekend. Have a great weekend everyone.

Just thawed and trimmed a 14lb prime packer from sams. I weighed the fat and it came out to 6 lbs 14oz. 50% loss before its even cooked. This is probably one of the worst briskets i ever had to trim.

Paging Dr Phu and all you closet smoke heads!!.....Late to the party but was busy yesterday with my brisket on the stick burner. Been a long time but there is just something romantic (or as my dad would say...SEXY) about tending a fire. Did a cross between Cowgirl and Arron Franklin methods. Had two good spikes and it turned out well very good. It just appears it doesn’t matter how hot or not, wrapped or not, moistened or not......those fellas will get ready WHEN THEY GET READY!!....Gonna go out and try to catch some music today.....Y’all have a great AND SAFE weekend.....happy smokin.....Peace

Either St. Louis ribs with the trim as burnt ends or lamb shanks. I think i will give the Open Range its trial run.

Using up the last of the leftover brisket for chili. Thinking of doing up some frito pies for the family.

Kettle for roasting corn for corn salad and poblanos for poblano ranch.

Barrel for ribs.

Kamado with the vortex for some wings.
