CharGriller Duo Grates Problem

Anyone else havin trouble w/CharGriller porcelain-coated iron grates? Mine are coupla months old and when I fired up the gas side the porcelain started 'popping' off...had to close the cover! EM'd them and I get "What are you cleaning them with?" Been using PCI grates for years and never had this problem with any others - has nothing to do with cleaning.

Anyone know where to get replacements that'll fit? Thanks

I've had the same problem with their regular porcelain-coated grills. I looked for the iron grates since this happened but it doesn't appear that they make them specifically for my Silver smoker. THere are some generics but not sure of how well they'll match up.

My Pro came with the cast iron grates. Never any problem with them. I suggest you give them a call. From my understanding they have excellent customer service. You may want to opt for the cast iron grates.
