Default A new TV show is calling all BBQ experts!

Hello everyone,

My name is Irina and I am a casting associate for a television production company. We are about to start a new show to find the best BBQ and meat cooks in the country, and I bet we can find someone on this forum who's got what it takes! I would love to reach the largest group on this site, but I wanted to make sure to follow your forum rules on what was most appropriate forum for this post, so I tried this one. Below is a copy of our casting notice. If you think that this sounds like you, send us an email! Thanks!

CALLING ALL CARNIVORES

Are you a world class cook for meat-eaters? Can you cook meat- every kind, every way- and bring out the best every time? Can you face off against the best chefs on the planet? And tell them where to shove their soufflé? A new TV show is looking for one man who can cook for the carnivore in all of us.

Must be outgoing and energetic. Fun and plainspoken. No airs. No nonsense. No actors. Be yourself- and come ready to work. Cooking credentials a plus. Must be between 28-45 years old, and willing to travel. Email us at [email protected] and include a headshot, cooking credentials, and a tape if available.

What's with the 45 age limit? Took most people I know that long to figure it out!

My Audition Tape

http://www.youtube.com/user/GoodVitt.../1/TU41Y5A9vZI

I get like 14 of these offers in my email... no one ever responds LOL

If I was on the show I would have to Edit my own footage, and I would have to play Popdaddy... man who like Pirandello's Henry believes he is King, is actually an insane fat white guy who thinks he is the BBQ equivalent of PRINCE in which like Norma Desmond, life has passed him by... all he has left is Bravura and his BBQ.

Of course they would have to work around my teacher's schedule.... I am a Special Ed Teacher.

And Bigmista would have to be Morris Day!

If I'm to old to host the show...I'm going to be to old to watch it.

Way to alienate most of your audience, Irina.
