they are well know here in houston.
under the leadership of the original owners, they were the pit to beat at cookoffs, especially HLSR. under the current owners, they have slide to the bottom. they are much better options in the houston area. as long as you dont need thing from P&S you'll be okay. they have the worst customer service in the industry. |

Sounds like a bargain.
I bought my homemade OffSet at an Estate Sale for a song. They are out there. Clean it up, Re-season it, and get ready for a great year of smoking. Congrats. |

Took a fine wire cup on my drill to it today and I'm thinking you're right. Looks like I got all the years of grime off and its just down to the original paint now. Except for a couple spots where there was rust and I took it to bare metal. Gonna skip the paint and just fire this girl up next weekend. Can't wait!!!

Too good to be true? Pitts & Spitts
Got the first round of spit-shining done. Skipped the paint. Hit it with a fine wire cup brush to knock off the junk from 20 years. Now I'm just planning on getting the grates sand blasted as they're pretty funky. After I started shining it up I started getting a sinking feeling in my gut about selling it, which was the plan. I'm back on the fence now...
