Default 3 Varieties of Homemade BBQ Sauces

Just prior to the 4th of July I spent a day making BBQ sauce. From left to right in the photo: Kansas City style sauce, Carolina Mustard style sauce & Carolina Vinegar style sauce.

Looks great. Love changing things up with the Carolina-style.

Just curious -- how long do you anticipate those jars lasting (assuming they're stored properly)?

You messed them up. Send them here and I will do my best to fix them, or at least dispose of them for you.

I used waterbath canning to properly seal them and then they are stored in the basement where it is fairly dark and cool. Those 3 kinds of sauce in that photo will last me 6 months but then again there is only my wife and I at home aside from the occasional gathering. With the proper canning method I have never had a jar go bad on me.

With the zombie apocalypse pending, you may want to spread those around for safekeeping..

Well, since they are all so safe and well sealed and all, they should be able to make a one way trip to Australia, no sweat!
