Well....finally!
My buddy who builded my drum had time to hop over and pop the cherry of 1 of the drums (and his new camera)....and so we did!
I didn't went all out on the foods,there's ribkarbonade,chicken and boerewors on the grill.
With that I made a salade of cucumber,maters,paprika,boiled egg,nuts....
The chicken was the best I've ever made,it had a real smokey flavour to it plus I had a jar of homemade marinade/glaze (honey based) that I've saved to this moment.
It was a fine rookie experience!

P.S.My neighbours above me had their clean laundry drying on the balcony.:wink:

You guys did a good job on that grill! I love watching the color change on it in the pics! Picking up that nice smokey patina!

ohhh.. and what kind of sausage is boerewors? I am not familiar with that.

Very nice work! Great pics of great looking food. Congratulations my friend. Go ahead and have a doctors visit and get your blood pressure checked. I have gained about ten lbs in the month or two since I finished my first drum.
