Default Leg of lamb on Pbc w/ pron

So I planned on doing a leg of lamb yesterday. As I was preparing it my friend called me up and invited me over for a cookout in the evening with a bunch of folks. One of those last minute deals but I like that sometimes. I told him since Im already in the middle of doing the lamb Ill bring it over.

Needless to say everyone went berserk over it. It came out excellent. I couldn't carve it fast enough.

Simple rub with rosemary, garlic, black pepper, salt, lemon zest and clarified butter.

Hung some potatoes along later. Evoo,s&p, fresh garlic, rosemary.

Just managed to snap this before it disappeared. I barely got to taste it.

Looking like you nailed it there. My go to rub is the same as yours minus the lemon zest... hmm.. may have to try yours next time.

Thanks!!

Funny that you said that. Sometimes I'll do with the zest sometimes not. I just felt like adding it yesterday. Give it a shot it's pretty good.
