Michiana Folks.....Great source for pork belly

Vlasicak's Meat Market....between Edwardsburg and Cassopolis on M-62. He orders pork on Monday...they kill the pigs on Tuesday, and deliver to him on Wednesday. I just picked up a whole pork belly for $2.89 a pound. You can order just one. I also asked about whole brisket.....but he has to get a case of them, so doesn't order them till the weather is warmer.

I wish I could get them around here for that. The closest I can get is almost $4 a pound and I got to pay shipping.

Thanks for the heads up!:thumb: The wife and I will be heading over to Lowrey's in Buchanan for some bacon on our way back from Sam's. They have premium #1 thick slice bacon for $2.19/lb. when you buy ten pounds.
