Default Big Green Egg at Sam's?

I was at Sam's today and saw a BGE with nest for $899. Has BGE changed their mind on selling through dealers only? I thought it was interesting because when this happened before they played it off as an unauthorized deal.

Unauthorized as in no BGE warranty probably.

Unauthorized, and no warranty. Definitely. It's frustrating for dealers though...

Bought mine at Costco last year...registered with BGE for Warranty and we all know Costco's return policy.

Such a great marketing strategy. Punish the buyer for purchasing the product BGE made. I still can't believe BGE would do that. Oh, looks like they don't do that from the prior post. That's more like it!

I had no problems with warranty. Bought my egg from a Costco outlet. Even used the warranty twice, gaskets and hardware replacements.

Is that for a Large BGE? Any accessories? In Houston, LBGE only can be had for $650+tax. The nest is separate, but I think it is about $120-150.

I didn't check it out that close and didn't have my phone to take pictures. This is the fist I saw it. I'm in there every week. I'll look tomorrow while I'm picking up ribs.
