Great looking sandwich!
Since you asked for more ideas, here you go. I like pluging roast with garlic to give it that extra punch. Just insert a small knife in 5-6 spots in the roast and push a small piece of garlic in the hole. You will be suprised at the amount of flavor it adds. But then again may be not as you are Italian.

Great looking sammie Serial. I would agree that I would cook it a little more indirect, but it sure looked good the way it was.

Frankie, good looking stuff. The rolls look fantastic.
The only changes I'd make are to add some smoke and to cook it a little less. But that's personal preference.

That is an excellent looking sandwich. I always add some wood smoke, either using firewood to cook or adding a "smoke bomb". But that is one awesome looking sandwich!!!!

That looks good.
Baltimore (Maryland) has a lot of pit-beef places. Most don't seem to use any rub on their beef. If they do anything before cooking, may be just salt and pepper. After it's cooked I like mine with only horseradish, mayo and raw onions. Scott |
