I now know what I am going to enter, I just need to get to the store tomorrow and pull it all together. It is gonna be perfect for this throwdown. Perfect! I know what I need to add too, some eggplant, beer, starfish, beer, ale, beer, beets, candy, beer and Bailey's, maybe some foil, and um beer.

Since my General Tso's Burnt Ends were a TD fail, I'm going to go with General Tso's Pulled Pork Sammie. In actuality, I just like saying "General Tso's Pulled Pork Sammie." The complete write-up is given here:

http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=122810

The abbreviated version for General Tso's Pulled Pork Sammie is here.

I began by seasoning up a couple of pork butts and a chuckie and doing an overnighter. The chuckie is on the top and you can ignore that.

I then made a sweet-hot sauce that is General-Tso-like for the sammie that I can imagine him constructing for a midnight snack:

In short, I mixed the following:

1/4 cup water
1 T soy sauce
1 T Apple cider vinegar (this was homemade, last year's batch and really good)
1 t Hoisin sauce
1 t Sriracha
1 t sesame oil (dark, although it really doesn't matter)
1 T brown sugar
1 t cornstarch
1 T Red Boat Fish Sauce (thank you Smokejumper)
1 T ground ginger
1 T chili paste

If you are making this, make sure you dissolve the cornstarch in the cold water first, before adding everything else (or it will clump), mix everything up and heat on the stove to thicken. There are lots of variations possible on the ingredients. What is critical is balancing the sweet and the hot. I especially want to put a plug in for the Red Boat Fish Sauce. This normally is not used in this dish, but I find it great at filling out the flavor. It adds depth. Also, all measurements are approximate. You are trying for balance here between sweet and hot. You don't want one taste dominating.

I pulled the pork (I think we all know how to do that by now) and put it all together with some sliced green onions and yellow pepper to make General Tso's Pulled Pork Sammie:

I can imagine General Tso eating one of these at night after one of his campaigns and feeding the broccoli to his concubines.

That is absolutely beautiful Gore.

I've heard General Tso's jaw is not attached to his cranium much like a Great White shark which will come in handy when taking a bite out of that masterpiece.

I'm sure General Tso would approve of that Sammie, Gore!

BTW, has anyone seen or heard from General Tso of late?

To is also called Gore down to throw chef's attention, I am legendary general Tso.

The word arrived recently for me in one to the battlefield has the sandwich which my name looked deliciously. Did not need saying that I must investigate.

My name chicken cooked food which by the hungry US just like you know, have eats meal the visitor who enjoy in fact thought they to eat real Chinese food. This is a part which control I always plan… Do not mind that possesses that.

Any you need to know that is I discovered your sandwich is looks deliciously happily in a gluttonous fatty American kind of way. I meant that the dang matter so does not have a means even greedy American possibly to obtain their mouth nearby it becomes extreme excited huge! This greatly brings me to know joyfully the American will be fatter, and borrows the Chinese money to buy more and more we collides until day these sandwiches, in fact, I meant that we start to ship these happy sandwiches directly to yours gate day.

However I must acknowledge that there looks like is quite obvious lacking roasts the cheese hot corn piece in this plate. Roasts the cheese hot corn piece in where? Here in China, roasts the cheese hot corn piece is the new rice. I also am understood truly the American photograph roasts the cheese hot corn piece. This should better serve probably with roasts the cheese hot corn piece to be obese your American fast.
