John Dawson posted a "Grilled" salad recipe a few weeks back and I had been meaning to give it a whirl...last night I made some burgers...bought the romaines and gave it a go.

It turned out very good! The finished product that you see has Roasted Red pepper Italian Dressing, shredded pepper jack cheese and topped with grilled then diced Vidalia Onions...which is also what you see on the burger in the back.

If you are looking for a great twist on salad...which is sure to impress with presentation if you are having some folks over...give it a try...it won't disappoint!

Very impressive! I hardly ever eat salad but I'd be all over that!

Rossz in Ventura is the Romaine King!
I usually use parmesan or parmigiano reggiano.
