Kitchen baking scale

I want a general purpose scale leaning towards baking . Found a OXO good grips 5 lb scale for $30 on Amazon but I don't know if 5lbs will be enough after I put the bowl and stuff on there.

Should I go with the 11 lb one for $50?

Any other thoughts?
