Default Bacon Bacon Poutine

We Love Bacon and we love Poutine. The two together sounded great

Started with some SRF bacon on the camp chef

Attachment 155199

A Rib Eye steak with a light Porcini Mushroom rub on the camp chef with bacon grease

Attachment 155200

Good and hot to get a good sear

Attachment 155201

Make sure there is enough bacon grease with some chopped bacon

Attachment 155202

These will be bacon bits

Bacon bits .jpg

Separated about half the bacon bits and added diced mushrooms

add Mushrooms jpg.jpg

Gentle cook on the shrooms and into the Brawn Gravy MSD made up

into beef gravy .jpg

After a rest, the steak is sliced

Time to build the Poutine. Start with several sliced of Bacon

start Bacon .jpg

Add some homemade Fries

A layer of the Rib Eye Steak

add steak .jpg

Onions

More Fries

White Cheddar Cheese Curds – generous helping!

Make sure the Bacon, Beef, Mushroom Gravy is good and hot and pour lots of it on the Poutine

Ready to eat – not yet, Bacon bits and onions!

And some Grated Parmesan Cheese

I really liked this and enjoyed the additional Bacon and Parm but sure like the looks of this!

Bacon Poutine .jpg

We really enjoyed this and it was plenty enough for our diner with a few pounds of steamer clams and there was enough left for some breakfast in the morning. Fries were softer but it was still Dayum good!
Thanks for Lookin!

Oh, wow.... I really want some of that, but those clams also sound divine!

I can only imagine how good that is for breakfast...

Thanks guys, we loved this stuff. Had Poutine at a new to us café and we both said we can make this, and make it better.

I am craving it again myself.

Well, I've sampled some great poutines in several different provinces. That there is blasphemy. Darn, tasty blasphemy at that. Can't wait to tell my wife I'm making poutine and I need a ribeye and pound of bacon.

I've never had real poutine but the closest thing I have tried are Boo Fries from Acme Oysterhouse. What's the plan of attack on this plate?
