Had my first competiton at a local IBCA 4/23-/4/25..
Only 37 teams - Chicken -10th, Brisket 14th
Overall good learning experience...had a good time!!!

First comp with my daughter (second comp for me period) WA Spring Training 4/24. Daddy & Me BBQ took 1st in Ribs, 2nd in Sausage and Chicken. 6th in Tri-tip. Our first GC!! Was a great time. My daughter was thrilled to death!

Rubbed for your Pleasure first competition was Mar 12-13 at the North Kansas City MO State BBQ Championship 8th place brisket, finished 64th out 109 teams.

Second competition was 7th Annual Smokin' in the Creek BBQ Cook-off we got a 9th in Chicken and finished 21st out of 52 teams.

Hey all,

Velvet Smoke BBQ - First KCBS sanctioned "pro" event was this past weekend in Liberty, IN. 2nd place call in ribs. Quau, the flying burritos and a couple other heavy hitters came in for this event so it was cool hangin' with some of the big dogs!

Swinestone Cowboys competed in North Platte, NE this weekend. It was our 3rd contest overall, and we got our first call. We finished 2nd out of 53 teams in chicken, and 14th overall.
