Christmas Tree Lot Vending
Has anyone done a set up during the holidays for a christmas tree lot and if so how did you do and what foods did you offer.
I aproached a local guy setting up today and asked him if he would ever entertain having a BBQ vendor set up blowing smoke and helping atract customers, he was kinda intruiged. Just wondering if anyone has had a good success with it. this particular guy is set up at a Safeway parking lot out buy the Gas station area with great roadside exposure. Big Mike |

Any place with a crowd is a good chance to sell BBQ.
Have you approached your local HD yet?

Sounds like it could be a fun crowd. As Bubba points out, if you are already set up with the HD to vend, it might be a good deal. Best of luck. Post some pics and let us know how it goes. It's too damn cold here in Iowa to do something like this, but I would go with menu items that are inexpensive and easy to eat. There will be lots of kids, so hot dogs will go well (and they can be pretty profitable). Cheers!
