I know I know another brisket thread but this was my best one yet so why not share it with the class? I've been gone from the site for a week since I was on vacation and really missed looking at pron. Weird huh? Hopefully someone missed me. Anyway I went to the hunting ranch and saw lots of doe but no shooters yet. I still have plenty of time during the season to take a doe if I don't get a chance at a buck. Anyway I had a 9lb packer in the freezer and took it with me since my uncles wanted a brisket. So I kept it very simple with just salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder and man o man this was my best so far. 6hrs on the kettle minioning it and this was my best bark so far. I'm still working on getting more bark but I'm still learning. My uncles said it was the best brisket they've ever had. What a good feeling. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.
