Thumbs up Upgrading my cook area

I've lived in my current house about twelve years, and though I was happy to have a carport to cook under on bad weather days, the carport was a bit rickety. We decided to replace it and I'm taking advantage of the opportunity so I can put my cooker in a better spot and make the area better for entertaining.

The old carport:

Construction underway:

Further along:

Light cans installed:

Ceiling going up:

Lights and skylight over cooking area:

Still waiting on a brick layer to build the retaining wall and brick the columns before the last bit of concrete is poured. Some parts of the country are starving for rain, and we can't get two dry days in a row or this would already be finished

I'll post more pics when it's further along.

-Mike

Damn Mike - That looks Awesome. The Ceiling wood is such a great idea, it looks to rich and inviting like on your own Cabin Cruise Ship or something. A couple of rocking chairs or lounge chairs and you will definitely be spending all your time outside.
