Hello and Happy Thanksgiving.

I purchased 2 fresh turkey breasts Sunday to cook in my smoker. When I went to brine them last night, one smelled funny. The other smells fine. Afterward I read the turkey keeps for only 1-2 days in the refrigerator and of course I won't use the one with the smell. Do you think the other one might be OK, or would you not chance it.

Thank you for your help.

If it smells I would not use it. Try rinsing, if it still has odd odor, toss it.

Toss them.
Salmonella can kill but also ruin your digestive abilities for life. Is it worth the risk?
