60+ pounds of meat for Prez Day
Had I known the wind would be up and the snow flying, I might not have done this...
With two UDS and 2 kettles working all day, I've got... four pork butts (28#) on a HnF at around 325 on the first UDS six racks of ribs at 275 on the other UDS 3 chuckies on one kettle 8 chix breasts, a 4# pork loin and soon 18 chix thighs rotating on the other kettle Waiting in the wings is a FoodSaver V850 and a case of Stevens Point Winter Sampler, (St. Benedicts is the best!!) Needless to say, I am a bit busy to take/upload pics. Kind of like the challenge of cooking in this weather!! Cheers!!! |

Good on ya! I gotta ask, What is the event? Certainly you are not just filling your freezer with 60# of smoked goodness. . .
Maybe a bunch of bankers celebrating a day off? |

Actuallly, just a teacher with the day off filling the freezer with BBQ!. Getting interesting now...wind picking up and daylight fading. Ribs are off. Moved the loin and beef to the oven. Chix and pork still on the UDS. THought I grill a couple of steaks for supper. At least the beer stays cold! |
