Chicken and grilled strawberries
Chicken breasts marinated in a ginger terriyaki store bought marinade. Strawberries skewered and sprinkled with sugar, terriyaki pasta (store bought pasta sides), and some BBQ beans doctored with magic dust and habanero sauce. Cooked the chicken and berries on the blue weber 22.5" OTg with my new cast iron weber sear grate. Cooked the noodles on my 2QT lodge CI dutch oven and the beans in my #7 slant EPu griswold CI skillet. Thanks fer lookin!

Dude! That looks great(grate?) but tell us how it was. What about the grilled strawberries? Noodles, beans? I would love to hear details. Thanks!

Grilling the strawberries softens them up and cooks the inner juices making them even sweeter. Very tasty IMO. As for the beans, just store bought maple bourbon BBQ beans and I added magic dust and habanero sauce for added flavor and heat. Noodles store bought called Asian sides. Just terriyaki flavor. Quick to make and tasty. No time for made from scratch stuff.

Cast iron is my favorite material for cooking (except for gravy which comes out a sickly gray color .) It looks like you are putting yours to very good use.
I've grilled pineapple but never thought of doing strawberries. I'll have to give that a shot when they're in season. |
