Plus beer money, but I don't think I've been to a BBQ place or tap room lately without those iPad charge card dealies.

Dry City probably has them, but I doubt that John will

Might have even been 2006/2007 or 2007/2008

Remember we didn't go in January, we were there week between Christmas and New Years or something, maybe even the 23rd.

Oh Captain, My Captain, thank you so much for organizing this gathering. The selection of both location and food provider were both superb. And it's always good to get together at associate faces with member names form the board and share stories about one of our favorite pastimes.

Thanks!

PS: Sat with Bill-Chicago and he doesn't look anything like his picture. For that matter neither do you.

Was a great time as always. But I hope most of the people that showed up today also show up for the Summer Bash. While the food at most of the winter get togethers is good, the food at the bash is so much better.

I'd love to attend the summer bash but I've had conflicts so far.

Do we have a date yet? I'm guessing that whoever is doing it already has a shelter reserved.

That would be me, and no date yet. I'm waiting on a couple of competition dates to be firmed up. Soon

Thanks again Ron for organizing another very nice event.

Was glad to meet FletcherD from town here, HankB and Mrs.HankB, Tyler from Juergens Smokehouse, CCBBQ and Son, and to catch up with Andy, Steve Trout, Dann (didn't get to talk to the Mrs as she was busy helping set up) Kirk and Mrs KP, T&S (only greeted Teebody, didn't get back down that way to chat) Grab and a bit with SweetSmoke.

Each time I get to meet a few more.

Looking forward to summer when we actually get to shoot the chit a bit more.

Wondering what I'll be making besides Filipino bbq sticks.

I'm thinking something in the belly family. We'll see.

Stay inside tomorrow everyone!

Ron, hope Amy is feeling better. She was missed.

Looks like y’all all had a great time. Have never been to Chicago and a summer bash seems like a good reason to go. Looking at y’all’s weather this week makes a summer trip a lot more likely than a winter visit for this old thin blooded Texan.

Have to say beer was good, food was great. Seeing the great turnout was awesome. Ron did a great job as usual, and the burnt ends, oh those burnt ends!
