Splitting wood for this season

Well, I was able to get some Oak and Pecan from one of my friends 3 weeks ago (free). It has been in a pile in the backyard, but finally was able to start splitting this weekend, great weather.:clap2:
The best part is, my youngest son was home from college this weekend and both of my boys & I started early and put a big dent in it. The oak is finished & stacked, pecan is 2/3rds finished. Alot of work, but it was the best day with my boys. :-D

Now I need to finish the mods to my bandara and charbroil smokers. Still saving up for the Lang.

I gave up a big part of my yard to stockpile wood. Like Phrasty said, you can never have too much wood or too many different types.
