Texas BBQ Brethren Bash Spring 2018 Planning

Well as most of you know, it's never too early to start planning our next Texas BBQ Brethren Bash for the Spring of 2018.
[FONT=&quot]Looking at the old calendar on the wall, [/FONT][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]March 17 or 24, 2018[/FONT] works for Shelly and I.

So I was thinking:
Saturday March 24, 2018
Ray Roberts State Park Group Picnic Pavilion 2 (Isle du Bois Unit)
Group Pavilion 2

If that looks good I will need to get the reservations in pretty quick.
What are your thoughts? :mrgreen:

The Mobile Banderes should be done by then. We’ll see how it stacks to a Shirley.

Would be great to get this firmed up as soon as possible!
Then anyone who would like to camp or RV can reserve their campsite early!
Last year it got full quick and a few could not come with their RV's. :mrgreen:

Well boys and girls we have it locked in and reserved!!
It can be moved if another date is available and desired for a small Fee.
As fast as they went last year I did not want to miss it!!
So mark it on your calendars!

March 24 is doable for me. I suspect the lake wind is going to be cold (and possibly rainy) that early in the season.

As an attender of the Fall Bash at Ray Roberts, I'm miffed they got switched and now the Spring is at Roberts.

That being said, I hope to make this, although I need to save $ as I'll be in the Philippines for nearly a month next summer.

Loved Frognot picking us up at the airport and showing us the wild briskets you all see running around in people front lawns.

Darn I got here late too weigh in...I was really hoping for a St. Patty's day Bash! Plus that's part of spring break for me so it was guaranteed that me and my wife (both teachers) would be free. Our "Bash Buddy" Bella want's to come again too!!!
