Default Skinny Chef

They say "never trust a skinny chef". So I had to join up with y'all to up my grilling game.
Actually not skinny... had gastric sleeve surgery 3+ months ago. I really don't enjoy or miss food that much at this stage. But apparently, like many others who've had this surgery, I want to cook all the time. Just ordered a Charotis spit to go along with my entry level Weber charcoal and cheap HD gas grill. Plan on doing a hog for my daughters graduation in a few months. Research for that bright me here.

Welocme to the asylum!

Take a look around and if you have questions please feel free to contact the moderator team or our senior members. Their names are color coded so you can recognized them. Also, each section of the forum has a description that you can use to figure out where to post.

Finally, please review our rules! They are pretty straight forward, but looking at them up front may help to eliminate problems later

Oh! Don’t forget to add your name to the Brethren Map, located at the top of this Cattle Call forum.

Most important, have fun and join in our conversations and share and learn!

Hi Mitch, I’m brand new here too! Can’t wait to hear about the hog for your daughters graduation! And good for you on your gastric sleeve surgery! Many Blessings sent your way!
