Default Cool temps= Brisket chili

I have been wanting to try something different with the leftover brisket in my freezer from a recent cook, and since the temps cooled down behind the two weather fronts that just passed, chili was on my mind.
First I chopped up an onion and mixed it up with a half green pepper and half orange to give it some color.
Sauteed in the pot and then added the chopped brisket.
Next in, the canned ingredients (beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce), then the spices.
It has simmered for over an hour and seems ready, but the wife and I agreed to let it all meld overnight and have it tomorrow so that we can finish the pot roast leftovers first. Does waiting up until midnight count as waiting until tomorrow? I've tasted it already and if it gets better, I may not be able to sleep!!

Here is the finished product and the recipe, compliments of HeyGrillHey. I found it on a search and it looked simple enough for me to follow.

When beans are involved, its definitely Premium (salted)

I reserve Frito's for Texas Red.

The Frito-Lay guy always has some Fritos stashed somewhere, other than that, Premium Saltines. Sour cream will definitely make an appearance!
I wanted this version to be bean-free, but my wife likes extra beans in her chili, so I just followed the recipe (2 cans) and let her nap.

Don't forget pickled jalapeno's. I prefer the tamed sliced ones because i make my chili to my heat liking, so any additional heat needs to be minimal.
