I'd like to know how many racks of baby backs is the most any of you have successfully attempted to Q on the WSM. I'm cooking ribs later this afternoon and have a lot of mouths to feed.
Max number of baby backs on the top rack of the WSM?

somebody shut me the fark up.
I can do 12 slabs per WSM using this rack...6 upper and 6 lower. I only have 3 (cut in half) here...but you get the idea. I usually have to bend them around a bit...but it works pretty well.

i fit a bunch using a stack mod (2) side by side leaving some air flow room. I sometimes will stack as much as 3 high & rotate them making 6 racks each grate. WSM is only 18 1/2" in diameter. Hope this helps.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

My eyes went
too when I went to Costco the other day to buy the cryovac packs of baby backs. $3.99/lb here in San Diego County. $32 for one pack.
